This is a guide (With Pictures!) on how to install software from software center to your district laptop or desktop. Using Software center you can install any software that the technology team has pre-packaged for you with ease!
Step 1: Open Software Center
You can click the start button and search for Software Center.
Or, you can click the Expansion Arrow in the Taskbar and Select the Software Icon(Pictured Below)
Step 2: Select the Software you want to install.
Now that software center is open select the software you would like to install.
Click the Install Button to start installing your software!
Step 3: Wait
The software will now start downloading and installing. This can take 2-20 minutes depending on what software you chose. Please do not turn off your computer or disconnect from the Wi-Fi or Internet.
The software should now be installed and will say so next to the selected program. If it has failed try the retry button in the lower right hand corner. If that does not work please submit a tech ticket and we will assist you as soon as we can!
